Fraser High School Schedule:
Reflection:
In high school I’m looking forward to taking some of my crime scene classes and sports medicine classes as well. I am excited to do crime scene and forensic classes because I love watching FBI shows and finding ways to find criminals seems awesome. I also can’t wait to take sports medicine classes to help me with my future career. Scheduling was somewhat difficult because there are some many things to choose form that it’s hard to pick. I am nervous for my math classes because math is not my strong point and I am scared of falling behind. I am also nervous for my gym class given my knee surgery history. High school is going to be fun and hard all at the same time. It will be fun because it will be a fun experience with all my different selective and hard with the curriculum and the kids may be a little mean. But, other than that, I’m excited for high school. It will be fun to make friends that may be in older grades and will have fun doing all the extracurricular activities.

Career Cruising Completed:
Reflection:
During the time using career cruising I learned what kind of learner I am, what jobs I’m suitable for, and what classes and degrees I need for my future career. I am a visual learner meaning I learn best when seeing something that I’m supposed to do done. For my career the lowest degree I need to become an Orthopedic Surgeon is a four-year Bachelors degree. Even though there is no certain Bachelors degree needed you still have required classes. Some of the classes I need to take are human biology, some chemistry classes, some anatomy classes, and lots more. I am most excited for the human anatomy classes. I also learned that these surgeons can make up to 600k a year and you can make even more if you become Chief of Orthopedic Surgeons.
There were some, but not many, things I would change about the career cruising process. One thing I would change would be the list of possible careers. It gave you all types of stuff in different categories, which is nice, but they were all mixed up. I think they person taking the test should say what category of profession they want and only suggestions from that category pop up. Another thing I would change is how far ahead the dates can go. I think they should go father in the future because they only go so far and some people may need far5ther than that for an assignment. Other than that, this was kind of fun.
There were a lot of things I liked about career cruising. The test was cool because you didn’t know what to expect. It was a surprise. When you got to see the list you got to pick what, out of the list, you liked. My favorite part was filling out your future schedule. You got to see and pick what classes you wanted. Yes there was mandatory stuff, but you had a lot of free slots to pick what you wanted to do or try. Over all, career cruising was fun. I had fun seeing what jobs I was suitable for comparing to my test results.
